Aims & Objectives
The projects focus on various aspects of design and performance evaluation as well as on analysis of distributed and adaptive systems. The main objective (and common thread) is to develop adaptive algorithms and approaches in distributed environments, taking benefit of the systematic integration of adaptive/context-driven feedback control techniques with application in different domains, such ITS, Energy efficiency, Smart buildings, Micro-grid systems, Electro-mobility, and Smart agriculture. The aim is to study and investigate the following main research question: how recent IoT, Big Data and Blockchain technologies, together with advance real-time machine learning algorithms, could be combined to develop and deploy systems that autonomously measure (sense), analyze, predict, plan, and act (execute) according to the actual and contextual forecasts.
