Aims and objectives
The EEBLab platform was deployed as a Living Lab to support the design, implementation, and validation of innovative solutions in three key application areas: • Smart and energy-efficient buildings: focuses on intelligent energy management, occupant comfort, and sustainability. • Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and electro-mobility: enables the integration of connected transportation, electric vehicles, and smart charging infrastructures. • Smart farming toward the energy-water-agriculture nexus: promotes the efficient management of energy and water resources through digital technologies, precision agriculture, and AI-driven decision support towards smart farming. The Living Lab provides a real-world experimental environment for collaboratively developing, testing, and evaluating approaches under real-sitting scenarios.
