R&D Projects
MIGRID
The main aim of this project was to develop a holistic platform that integrates smart microgrids and renewable energy production/storage towards energy efficient buildings. Three major research issues were addressed in order to archive the project’s objectives: i) Renewable energy integration and DR(Demand/Response) variance tracking, ii) Context-awareness and data gathering/processing, and iii) ICT for connecting/networking the different components.
